Reisdetails van Andalusië
Omschrijving:
Dag 1 Andalusië in februari met Peter.
Na rondgekeken te hebben om te fietsen in Azië of Sri Lanka, hebben we vanwege alle beperkende maatregelen gekozen om in Zuid Spanje te gaan fietsen. Zonder tent maar met creditcard zeg maar.
We rijden in twee dagen de 2300 km naar Spanje, best pittig moet ik zeggen,maar de grote Volvo station van Peter ( door hem steevast Vulva genoemd) brengt ons relaxed naar het zuiden.
Onderweg boekt peter alvast een slaapplaats. Een goed hotel met Spa en wellness. We hebben er zin in. Bij aankomst in Riopar rond de klok van 21.00 blijkt het hotel vol te zijn… geen kamer.. huh?
Blijkt peter de kamer een nacht later geboekt te hebben. Geen geld terug natuurlijk. De hotel eigenaar belt nog wel naar een hostel in het dorp die plek heeft voor twee vermoeide en hongerige reizigers. Slapen gaat maar eten ho maar. Gelukkig is er een leuk restaurant waar we heerlijke tapas naar binnen werken
De volgende ochtend pakken we de fietsen uit de auto, schuiven de wielen er in en hangen de tassen aan de drager en zetten de navigatie aan.
Het is fris, zo’n 7 graden. We stylen ons met een extra donsjasje en laten de auto voor de komende twee weken achter.
Al snel blijkt het landschap erg afwisselend te zijn. Met name omhoog en naar beneden. We rollen langs de oorsprong van de rivier Mundo naar puerto del arenal. De eerste grote olijf velden dienen zich in de heuvels aan. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Spanje verast me tot nu toe.
Onderweg zien we duizenden olijfbomen in de inmiddels ruim aanwezige zon.
We stoppen vaak voor voedsel, zetten koffie met de meegebrachte percolator en maken veel foto’s.
Ik kan het niet helpen maar ik heb continu een lach op mijn gezicht, dit is een activiteit waar ik erg blij van wordt.
De rit langs Embalse de Tranco (stuwmeer) is waanzinnig mooi. Beetje aan de lege kant maar als het smelt water weer komt is het zo weer vol.
Op het terras in Cortijos Nuevos drinken we een biertje en dit word ongevraagd aangevuld met een paar kleine (zeer welkome) tapas.
Er is een hotel geboekt in de buurt van Santiago Pontones, niet te verwarren met Cojones.
Kamer is wat klein maar ok. In het restaurant zijn we de enigen en de jongeman die ons de kamer gaf blijkt ook de kok. We maken nadat de bestelling is opgenomen grappen over ‘Ping’ … de magnetron als we worden worden onderbroken door een ‘ Ping’ het zal toch niet? En ja hoor de lamskoteletjes en de ongefrituurde of gebakken frieten liggen lauw op ons bord. De bestelde salade met walnoot geitenkaas en pijnboompitten blijkt ook een gedaanteverwisseling te hebben ondergaan en gaat thans door het leven als paprika, tomaat met tonijn salade met een paar slappe melba toastjes. We rekenen 54 euro af…beetje veel voor het eten en biertjes maar onbetaalbaar qua herinnering.
Koffie slaan we maar af en gaan naar onze warme kamer.
Spullen reorganiseren voor morgen en dan met een goed gevoel deze dag afsluiten door te gaan slapen. 94 km gefietst vandaag.

Reisdetails van Andalusië
Omschrijving:
Dag 1 Andalusië in februari met Peter.
Na rondgekeken te hebben om te fietsen in Azië of Sri Lanka, hebben we vanwege alle beperkende maatregelen gekozen om in Zuid Spanje te gaan fietsen. Zonder tent maar met creditcard zeg maar.
We rijden in twee dagen de 2300 km naar Spanje, best pittig moet ik zeggen,maar de grote Volvo station van Peter ( door hem steevast Vulva genoemd) brengt ons relaxed naar het zuiden.
Onderweg boekt peter alvast een slaapplaats. Een goed hotel met Spa en wellness. We hebben er zin in. Bij aankomst in Riopar rond de klok van 21.00 blijkt het hotel vol te zijn… geen kamer.. huh?
Blijkt peter de kamer een nacht later geboekt te hebben. Geen geld terug natuurlijk. De hotel eigenaar belt nog wel naar een hostel in het dorp die plek heeft voor twee vermoeide en hongerige reizigers. Slapen gaat maar eten ho maar. Gelukkig is er een leuk restaurant waar we heerlijke tapas naar binnen werken
De volgende ochtend pakken we de fietsen uit de auto, schuiven de wielen er in en hangen de tassen aan de drager en zetten de navigatie aan.
Het is fris, zo’n 7 graden. We stylen ons met een extra donsjasje en laten de auto voor de komende twee weken achter.
Al snel blijkt het landschap erg afwisselend te zijn. Met name omhoog en naar beneden. We rollen langs de oorsprong van de rivier Mundo naar puerto del arenal. De eerste grote olijf velden dienen zich in de heuvels aan. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Spanje verast me tot nu toe.
Onderweg zien we duizenden olijfbomen in de inmiddels ruim aanwezige zon.
We stoppen vaak voor voedsel, zetten koffie met de meegebrachte percolator en maken veel foto’s.
Ik kan het niet helpen maar ik heb continu een lach op mijn gezicht, dit is een activiteit waar ik erg blij van wordt.
De rit langs Embalse de Tranco (stuwmeer) is waanzinnig mooi. Beetje aan de lege kant maar als het smelt water weer komt is het zo weer vol.
Op het terras in Cortijos Nuevos drinken we een biertje en dit word ongevraagd aangevuld met een paar kleine (zeer welkome) tapas.
Er is een hotel geboekt in de buurt van Santiago Pontones, niet te verwarren met Cojones.
Kamer is wat klein maar ok. In het restaurant zijn we de enigen en de jongeman die ons de kamer gaf blijkt ook de kok. We maken nadat de bestelling is opgenomen grappen over ‘Ping’ … de magnetron als we worden worden onderbroken door een ‘ Ping’ het zal toch niet? En ja hoor de lamskoteletjes en de ongefrituurde of gebakken frieten liggen lauw op ons bord. De bestelde salade met walnoot geitenkaas en pijnboompitten blijkt ook een gedaanteverwisseling te hebben ondergaan en gaat thans door het leven als paprika, tomaat met tonijn salade met een paar slappe melba toastjes. We rekenen 54 euro af…beetje veel voor het eten en biertjes maar onbetaalbaar qua herinnering.
Koffie slaan we maar af en gaan naar onze warme kamer.
Spullen reorganiseren voor morgen en dan met een goed gevoel deze dag afsluiten door te gaan slapen. 94 km gefietst vandaag.

Reisdetails van Andalusië
Omschrijving:
Dag 1 Andalusië in februari met Peter.
Na rondgekeken te hebben om te fietsen in Azië of Sri Lanka, hebben we vanwege alle beperkende maatregelen gekozen om in Zuid Spanje te gaan fietsen. Zonder tent maar met creditcard zeg maar.
We rijden in twee dagen de 2300 km naar Spanje, best pittig moet ik zeggen,maar de grote Volvo station van Peter ( door hem steevast Vulva genoemd) brengt ons relaxed naar het zuiden.
Onderweg boekt peter alvast een slaapplaats. Een goed hotel met Spa en wellness. We hebben er zin in. Bij aankomst in Riopar rond de klok van 21.00 blijkt het hotel vol te zijn… geen kamer.. huh?
Blijkt peter de kamer een nacht later geboekt te hebben. Geen geld terug natuurlijk. De hotel eigenaar belt nog wel naar een hostel in het dorp die plek heeft voor twee vermoeide en hongerige reizigers. Slapen gaat maar eten ho maar. Gelukkig is er een leuk restaurant waar we heerlijke tapas naar binnen werken
De volgende ochtend pakken we de fietsen uit de auto, schuiven de wielen er in en hangen de tassen aan de drager en zetten de navigatie aan.
Het is fris, zo’n 7 graden. We stylen ons met een extra donsjasje en laten de auto voor de komende twee weken achter.
Al snel blijkt het landschap erg afwisselend te zijn. Met name omhoog en naar beneden. We rollen langs de oorsprong van de rivier Mundo naar puerto del arenal. De eerste grote olijf velden dienen zich in de heuvels aan. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Spanje verast me tot nu toe.
Onderweg zien we duizenden olijfbomen in de inmiddels ruim aanwezige zon.
We stoppen vaak voor voedsel, zetten koffie met de meegebrachte percolator en maken veel foto’s.
Ik kan het niet helpen maar ik heb continu een lach op mijn gezicht, dit is een activiteit waar ik erg blij van wordt.
De rit langs Embalse de Tranco (stuwmeer) is waanzinnig mooi. Beetje aan de lege kant maar als het smelt water weer komt is het zo weer vol.
Op het terras in Cortijos Nuevos drinken we een biertje en dit word ongevraagd aangevuld met een paar kleine (zeer welkome) tapas.
Er is een hotel geboekt in de buurt van Santiago Pontones, niet te verwarren met Cojones.
Kamer is wat klein maar ok. In het restaurant zijn we de enigen en de jongeman die ons de kamer gaf blijkt ook de kok. We maken nadat de bestelling is opgenomen grappen over ‘Ping’ … de magnetron als we worden worden onderbroken door een ‘ Ping’ het zal toch niet? En ja hoor de lamskoteletjes en de ongefrituurde of gebakken frieten liggen lauw op ons bord. De bestelde salade met walnoot geitenkaas en pijnboompitten blijkt ook een gedaanteverwisseling te hebben ondergaan en gaat thans door het leven als paprika, tomaat met tonijn salade met een paar slappe melba toastjes. We rekenen 54 euro af…beetje veel voor het eten en biertjes maar onbetaalbaar qua herinnering.
Koffie slaan we maar af en gaan naar onze warme kamer.
Spullen reorganiseren voor morgen en dan met een goed gevoel deze dag afsluiten door te gaan slapen. 94 km gefietst vandaag.

Reisdetails van Andalusië
Omschrijving:
Dag 1 Andalusië in februari met Peter.
Na rondgekeken te hebben om te fietsen in Azië of Sri Lanka, hebben we vanwege alle beperkende maatregelen gekozen om in Zuid Spanje te gaan fietsen. Zonder tent maar met creditcard zeg maar.
We rijden in twee dagen de 2300 km naar Spanje, best pittig moet ik zeggen,maar de grote Volvo station van Peter ( door hem steevast Vulva genoemd) brengt ons relaxed naar het zuiden.
Onderweg boekt peter alvast een slaapplaats. Een goed hotel met Spa en wellness. We hebben er zin in. Bij aankomst in Riopar rond de klok van 21.00 blijkt het hotel vol te zijn… geen kamer.. huh?
Blijkt peter de kamer een nacht later geboekt te hebben. Geen geld terug natuurlijk. De hotel eigenaar belt nog wel naar een hostel in het dorp die plek heeft voor twee vermoeide en hongerige reizigers. Slapen gaat maar eten ho maar. Gelukkig is er een leuk restaurant waar we heerlijke tapas naar binnen werken
De volgende ochtend pakken we de fietsen uit de auto, schuiven de wielen er in en hangen de tassen aan de drager en zetten de navigatie aan.
Het is fris, zo’n 7 graden. We stylen ons met een extra donsjasje en laten de auto voor de komende twee weken achter.
Al snel blijkt het landschap erg afwisselend te zijn. Met name omhoog en naar beneden. We rollen langs de oorsprong van de rivier Mundo naar puerto del arenal. De eerste grote olijf velden dienen zich in de heuvels aan. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Spanje verast me tot nu toe.
Onderweg zien we duizenden olijfbomen in de inmiddels ruim aanwezige zon.
We stoppen vaak voor voedsel, zetten koffie met de meegebrachte percolator en maken veel foto’s.
Ik kan het niet helpen maar ik heb continu een lach op mijn gezicht, dit is een activiteit waar ik erg blij van wordt.
De rit langs Embalse de Tranco (stuwmeer) is waanzinnig mooi. Beetje aan de lege kant maar als het smelt water weer komt is het zo weer vol.
Op het terras in Cortijos Nuevos drinken we een biertje en dit word ongevraagd aangevuld met een paar kleine (zeer welkome) tapas.
Er is een hotel geboekt in de buurt van Santiago Pontones, niet te verwarren met Cojones.
Kamer is wat klein maar ok. In het restaurant zijn we de enigen en de jongeman die ons de kamer gaf blijkt ook de kok. We maken nadat de bestelling is opgenomen grappen over ‘Ping’ … de magnetron als we worden worden onderbroken door een ‘ Ping’ het zal toch niet? En ja hoor de lamskoteletjes en de ongefrituurde of gebakken frieten liggen lauw op ons bord. De bestelde salade met walnoot geitenkaas en pijnboompitten blijkt ook een gedaanteverwisseling te hebben ondergaan en gaat thans door het leven als paprika, tomaat met tonijn salade met een paar slappe melba toastjes. We rekenen 54 euro af…beetje veel voor het eten en biertjes maar onbetaalbaar qua herinnering.
Koffie slaan we maar af en gaan naar onze warme kamer.
Spullen reorganiseren voor morgen en dan met een goed gevoel deze dag afsluiten door te gaan slapen. 94 km gefietst vandaag.

[description] => Dag 1 Andalusië in februari met Peter.
Na rondgekeken te hebben om te fietsen in Azië of Sri Lanka, hebben we vanwege alle beperkende maatregelen gekozen om in Zuid Spanje te gaan fietsen. Zonder tent maar met creditcard zeg maar.
We rijden in twee dagen de 2300 km naar Spanje, best pittig moet ik zeggen,maar de grote Volvo station van Peter ( door hem steevast Vulva genoemd) brengt ons relaxed naar het zuiden.
Onderweg boekt peter alvast een slaapplaats. Een goed hotel met Spa en wellness. We hebben er zin in. Bij aankomst in Riopar rond de klok van 21.00 blijkt het hotel vol te zijn… geen kamer.. huh?
Blijkt peter de kamer een nacht later geboekt te hebben. Geen geld terug natuurlijk. De hotel eigenaar belt nog wel naar een hostel in het dorp die plek heeft voor twee vermoeide en hongerige reizigers. Slapen gaat maar eten ho maar. Gelukkig is er een leuk restaurant waar we heerlijke tapas naar binnen werken
De volgende ochtend pakken we de fietsen uit de auto, schuiven de wielen er in en hangen de tassen aan de drager en zetten de navigatie aan.
Het is fris, zo’n 7 graden. We stylen ons met een extra donsjasje en laten de auto voor de komende twee weken achter.
Al snel blijkt het landschap erg afwisselend te zijn. Met name omhoog en naar beneden. We rollen langs de oorsprong van de rivier Mundo naar puerto del arenal. De eerste grote olijf velden dienen zich in de heuvels aan. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Spanje verast me tot nu toe.
Onderweg zien we duizenden olijfbomen in de inmiddels ruim aanwezige zon.
We stoppen vaak voor voedsel, zetten koffie met de meegebrachte percolator en maken veel foto’s.
Ik kan het niet helpen maar ik heb continu een lach op mijn gezicht, dit is een activiteit waar ik erg blij van wordt.
De rit langs Embalse de Tranco (stuwmeer) is waanzinnig mooi. Beetje aan de lege kant maar als het smelt water weer komt is het zo weer vol.
Op het terras in Cortijos Nuevos drinken we een biertje en dit word ongevraagd aangevuld met een paar kleine (zeer welkome) tapas.
Er is een hotel geboekt in de buurt van Santiago Pontones, niet te verwarren met Cojones.
Kamer is wat klein maar ok. In het restaurant zijn we de enigen en de jongeman die ons de kamer gaf blijkt ook de kok. We maken nadat de bestelling is opgenomen grappen over ‘Ping’ … de magnetron als we worden worden onderbroken door een ‘ Ping’ het zal toch niet? En ja hoor de lamskoteletjes en de ongefrituurde of gebakken frieten liggen lauw op ons bord. De bestelde salade met walnoot geitenkaas en pijnboompitten blijkt ook een gedaanteverwisseling te hebben ondergaan en gaat thans door het leven als paprika, tomaat met tonijn salade met een paar slappe melba toastjes. We rekenen 54 euro af…beetje veel voor het eten en biertjes maar onbetaalbaar qua herinnering.
Koffie slaan we maar af en gaan naar onze warme kamer.
Spullen reorganiseren voor morgen en dan met een goed gevoel deze dag afsluiten door te gaan slapen. 94 km gefietst vandaag.
